Backburner Tuba-Euphonium Collective

The nation’s premiere large tuba-euphonium ensemble consisting of professional musicians from across the U.S. including 20 collegiate professors. Debut album to be released in 2022.

 

fLOW Quartet

2017-Present, U.S.A., Japan

Professional tuba-euphonium quartet focused on reaching an international audience. Projects with ensemble include an independent CD recording and release followed by a Japan tour in conjunction with Nexuss Music Publishing (JP). Other significant activities include lessons, a masterclass and recital performance at Stephen F. Austin State University (Nacogdoches, TX) and a performance at the Texas Music Educators Association Clinic/Convention in San Antonio, TX. 2020 included an invitation to perform in Taipei, Taiwan (postponed). 

 

Lone Star Wind Orchestra

2017-2024, 2013-2015, Dallas, TX

Professional wind band under the direction of Eugene Corporon with performances consisting of mostly contemporary band repertoire. Album recordings have been made with the group.

North Texas Wind Symphony

2018-2019, 2012-2014, University of North Texas

One of the most significant collegiate wind bands under the direction of famed conductor Eugene Corporon. Numerous albums have been made with this ensemble.

Public Outreach

Denton Tuba Christmas, Host

2023

Hosted 130+ tuba and euphonium players of all ages for annual event celebrating the 50th anniversary of TubaChristmas. The event was reported on in the Denton Record-Chronicle.

North Texas Low Brass Camp, Host

2023

Hosted a low brass camp of ~50 area low brass students with ages ranging from middle school to early college. Focus was given to chamber music and large ensemble experiences.

McKinney Philharmonic Brass Quintet

Public school performances at local area high school and middle schools as well as McKinney holiday events.

TWU Low Brass Choir

Public performances given at the Denton State Supported Living Center and outdoors at the center of TWU campus.

 

Dallas Tuba Christmas, Guest Conductor
